The Vanilla Prepaid Mastercard and Visa cards are prepaid cards you can buy. These are available in several stores. You can redeem these cards at millions of locations that accept Mastercard and Visa. You can use them at retail stores and even online. You do not need a PIN when using the card. Present your Vanilla Prepaid Mastercard or Visa card when you pay at retail stores. The store will reduce the full amount of your payment from the card balance. They will include taxes and charges. Activation

You can activate your card for free. The cashier will activate your card once you pay for it. The card has no value unless it gets activated. You can usually use the card an hour after the activation. There are rare instances where it can take up to a day before the funds become available on your card. You will pay no fees after the activation if you make transactions in local currencies. Purchases made in a foreign currency tare always converted. The total amount will be in a Canadian dollar amount. There will be a 2.5% foreign exchange service charge on the converted amount. Make sure you sign at the back of the card. Write down the number of the card and the customer service number. It may be helpful in case you lost it or it gets stolen.

You may check Vanilla Visa gift card balance with ease. You can visit www.vanillaprepaid.com and input the card number found on the back of the card and the date of expiry. You also need the CVC2 number and visual verification code. Merchants cannot determine the balance on your card. Your card will get declined if you buy something with an amount higher than the card’s balance.

You can also visit www.vanillaprepaid.com. Customer service may provide a replacement card in case of lost or stolen cards. You have to provide identifying details along with the card number. They will check their records if there is a balance remaining. They will cancel the card and refund the balance amount in the form of another prepaid card.
